I sent in a support ticket and got a response from Gary about 2 days ago.

Hi Sean,

Sorry for the wait. Andreas (one of the developers) is aware of this problem and I'm hopeful this will be fixed real soon. I'll send him a reminder right now and see what the status is. I'll update you when I find out more.

One workaround would be to install the OOTP 13 demo on a PC and then import that into OOTP 14 on your Mac, assuming you have access to a PC?

Still no response.
