Yeah that's just a clunky way of doing it. The other human manager can't even see if the AI would potentially accept a trade because that whole feature is disabled for them.
If they could easily put the framework of a deal together with the AI then I would have no problem executing the trade for them. However, that's not the case from what I can see.
