Well since I started the thread I'll get it going.

I'm trying to turn the Twins into something that resembles a major league franchise. Just finished our second full week and we're sitting at 9-9. Considering the team I'll consider that a small victory.

So far early stars are most of the usual suspects for the Twins.

Mauer is batting .333 with 9R 3HR 8RBI. Willingham is batting .338 with 14R 4HR and 15 RBIs. The 18Ks aren't helping him though. Finally the surprise is Chris Parmelee who's batting .349 with 3HR and 7RBI.

As the Twins my pitching sucks of course. First game of the season Perkins got hurt. He tore a muscle so now he's out for 12 months. I have Jared Burton closing for the moment but his first save opportunity he gave up like 4 runs and lost the game. He's since settled down and gotten 4 saves but his ERA is currently 9.95. My starters have been pretty bad. Vance Worley is 2-0 with 3.32 ERA in 21.2 innings and Ryan Pressly has suprisingly gone 3-0 with a 1.31 ERA in 20.2 innings.

Finally I had 3 major injuries. Perkins is out for the year like I said and Liam Hendriks is out for 4 weeks. My only position player hurt is Ryan Doumit who's out for 3 weeks.

So, so far so good for my goal of playing .500.

Note to self: Princess Kenny was really off-putting.
