There was no surprise in the MVP award, or the Manager of the Year Award, as Greenburg's Bob Byrd won the National MVP, and skipper Luis Reyes, who led Carbondale to the NBL's first ever championship, and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, took home the Manager of the Year award!
Arbitration Hearing Coming Up!!
We only have one player, starting pitcher Tim Butler, but we will NOT be offering arbitration to, as we feel Tim will be in AAA for us next year, as we look for an upgrade here!
Oh, and before we move on to free agency, which takes place on October 27th,
just got this picture in the mail from my one buddy who went
with me to Florida. Our other friend, Jay, was bragging that he
could drink two sixes, and not be drunk! Well, here's who he ended up
