Baseball is a strange game! The saying "the more I know, the less I understand",
does pretty much hold true! Take our four game series with Lebanon! In a free fall like we are, and being on the road, I had no idea what to expect. But if you ask me, I felt really good about the first game with Denny White pitching, with the others up in the air. Well, it ends up we lose the first game 8-7, as White goes six innings, giving up eight hits and seven runs.
Games 2, 3, and 4 - All wins for us, as our bats bailed out a poor performance by Juan Aguilar, as we won 8-7.
Then in game 3 we win 2-1 in a pitchers duel with Jesus Castaneda pitching his way to his eighth win.
Game 4 saw young Mark Davis go the distance again, pitching us to a 3-0 win. With that win, we now sit just four games out of the wild card spot, with eight games to go!
Can we say "nervewracking."
