What's the most games any pitcher has won in a season in your OOTP seasons? I just had a crazy situation in 1979, where I'm playing as the Mariners.

John Candelaria won 30 games for the Pirates, but was a distant second for the Cy Young...because J.R. Richard won 32 for the Astros! Not only that, he won the major league Pitching Triple Crown with 325 Ks and a 1.77 ERA! And he won 2 more games in the 5-game NLCS win over the Pirates, and another in the 7-game World Series win over my Mariners.

That's crazy for 1979, or really any time past around the early 30's (except maybe '67-'68). Tom Seaver led my rotation with 19 wins, but I did use a 5-man rotation, whereas most other teams used 4.

So, have any of you encountered those type of win totals in that late of a season? The 4-man rotation seems to be hanging on a bit late in my OOTP sims, but still, wow!
