LCS GAME 4's

LCS GAME 4's
El Paso Diablos-Jorge Sanchez (0-0 4.91)

Chicago Iron Pigs-Roberto Martinez (0-0 0.00)

Going on a hunch. Martinez faced this team a bunch this year and did well, well enough that I'll try and get a 3-1 lead with him on the mound.
Screw hunches...
Roberto Martinez retired exactly 1 hitter while yielding 5 hits and 2 home runs in the 1st. Andy Morgan then relieved him, giving up 3 more on a 3rd 1st inning homer and that was the game. 8-0 after 1. Morgan settled in and ended up saving the pen by going 7.2 innings, giving up 9 hits 5 runs (4 earned). What a disaster.

Tulsa Drillers-Robert Jensen (0-1 23.15)

Philadelphia Patriots-Howard Crane (0-1 6.75)

A wild one, with leads changing hands about every inning, and a ton of offense. The final tally was 27 runs on 30 hits and 13 walks that took 10 innings to decide.
Philly jumped out 5-0 in the 1st, opening the lead to 8-0 before Tulsa got 4 in the 4th. Down 9-4, Tulsa made it 9-7 before Philly added 2 more. Trailing 11-7 Tulsa got 3 in the 7th, and then took the lead with their 8th and 9th!! homers of the game. Bernardo Montoya would help Philly find a way by drilling his 4th post season homer in the bottom half to knot the game at 12. RP Michael Mullins would walk Curt Whimster and Jorge Ortiz with 1 out, and then Rich Alfred to load the bases. Oscar Gilette then lined a full count single to left breaking the tie at 13-12. Chris Gray followed with another line drive, this time to right, that would score 2 more and put it away, 15-12, for Tulsa.
