1/3 Jesus Machado had a monster 2019. Getting a shot to close for the first time, he sported a 1.62 and saved 40 games in 66 appearances, and earned a 3 year 22.2M dollar deal from the Hooks, and will now call Corpus Christi home.

1/21 Fresno signed 33 year old SP Esteban Valdez to a 4 year 32.8M dollar deal. He is 106-90 with a 4.31 in 1781.2 IP, with 1445 career K's.

2/1 Not going to lie, very much looking forward to the expanded scouting stuff, and developmental idea around the minor leagues.

But in the meantime, I am putting major capital into player development this year. Moving the scouting expense to 14.5M, up from about 4. It needs to make a difference, I need more high end prospects in AA and AAA.
