The only thing I noticed about the weather has already been stated about fatigue and injuries.

Wind direction and speed have very little bearing what so ever. If it did, a light hitting pitcher would not hit a 440 ft homerun with the wind blowing in from CF at 25 miles per hour. Had that happen a couple of times.

I played a fictional team in Mt. Washington, NH for a few season and the wind speed there is contastantly around 35 miles per hour, in from CF. I had a few 450+ home runs hit there. Even with the HR setting for the field around .900 for both left and right handed hitters.
