Massi Lorenzelli broke the tie in the 4th and Pedro Salinas opened it up in the 5th with his 5th playoff homer. Rogers would hold the Blizzard to a single run through 6, and Ellison, Winston and Moore did the same before our 4 run 9th ended any doubt.

Down 5-1 after 3, 6-2 after 4 the Patriots fought back before David Flemings 2nd homer of the night, with 1 out in the 9th and 1 on, off temp closer Will Clark, gave them an 8-7 win and a series tie. Jose Valentin went 4-5 with a HR and Fleming drove in 4 for Philly. Alejandro Villanueva went 2-5 with a 3 run homer and 4 RBI's in the loss. Philly battled early on after losing SP Sergio Carrillo to an undisclosed injury in the 3rd inning. Clark was the 6th of 7 Bulldog relievers as they continue to make due without closer Joe Boswell.
