Bracket H - Preview
- Mike Schmidt - Schmidt has been consistently great since I've started doing this - 480 in the original, 412 in the sequel, 525 in round three, and 673 in round four. He hit 548 in real life, and started off with a very impressive 44 in round two. I think he'll go far, but I worry that he may not be able to put up as big of rounds as others.
- Hank Aaron - I still like to consider Aaron the true home run king with 755 homers in real life. He's another guy that typically bombs for me though, but he did hit 659 in round three and 32 in round two.
- Mickey Mantle - Mickey Mantle hit 536 home runs in real life, and only had success once, in round three, where he hit 678 home runs. Mantle hit 28 home runs in round two.
- Bill McNulty - with no home runs in real life, McNulty had success in both the sequel and round four where he hit 693 and 823 respectively. McNulty hit 30 home runs in round two.
- Troy Glaus - Glaus hit 320 home runs in real life, and hit 515 in the original and 470 in round three. Glaus hit 23 home runs in round two after getting a bye.
- Carlos Pena - Pena hit 277 home runs in real life, and was another hitter who had success twice, with 560 in the original and 409 in round three. Pena hit 41 in round two after getting a bye.
- Hideki Matsui - Godzilla hit 175 home runs in the majors, and another 332 home runs in Japan. Matsui qualified with 711 home runs in round four and hit 24 in round one and 23 in round two.
- Matt Williams - hit 378 home runs in real life and qualified with 480 homers in the original. Williams hit 35 in round one and 33 in round two.
- John Mayberry, Sr. - hit 255 home runs in real life and qualified with 513 in round four. Mayberry hit 33 in round one and 41 in round two.
- Hank Greenberg - hit 331 homers in real life and 440 in round three. Greenberg hit 26 in round one and 29 in round two.
- Charlie High - hit just one home run in 94 at-bats in 1919-1920, but hit 691 home runs in round four. Hit 24 in round one and 19 in round two.
- Sadaharu Oh - hit 865 home runs in Japan, and qualified with 409 home runs in round four. Hit 37 in round one and 24 in round two.
- Curtis Granderson - has hit 210 home runs so far in real life, and qualified through the play-in round. Granderson hit 23 in round one and 20 in round two.
- Bob Horner - hit 218 home runs in real life and qualified with 422 in the original. Horner hit 37 in round one and a very impressive 54 in round two. I think the 54 was a fluke, but regardless he'll be one to watch.
- Cecil Fielder - hit 319 home runs in real life and qualified through the play-in round. Hit 29 home runs in round one and 28 in round 29.
- Carlos Gonzalez - has hit 99 home runs so far in his career, and qualified with 491 in round three. Hit 13 in round one and 17 in round two.
