Jud Wilson tied for the league lead this season with 66 home runs, and moved past 400 career home runs. Wilson was a Negro League player, and known as one of the most feared home run hitters.
Lou Jackson has been flying under the radar so far, but reached 400 career home runs this year. Lou Jackson hit just one home run in his career, and was a pinch hitter during the 1950's.
Mark Polhemus also hit home run 400 to advance to the next round. Polhemus didn't hit any home runs in real life and played in just 20 games in 1887.
Bullet Rogan hit his 900th home run of his career, while George Wood, Matt Joyce, Curley Williams, Sam Wise, and Erubiel Durazo hitting their 500th home run.Sam Wise retired following the season with 507 home runs.
Louis Santop also retired, finishing with 1119 career home runs, second only to Mule Suttles.
Hideki Matsui, Henry Cote, and Derrek Lee all hit career home run number 300 this year.
Fred Luderus hit 48 home runs this year and makes his debut on the watch list with 81 home runs at the age of 19.
