Rumored deal falls apart when player REFUSES to waive his no-trade clause. Possible explanations from player (or his agent): he doesn't want to be a rental player who wouldn't fully earn his experience shared with the team, wants to pick his own team as a free agent, it's important to player that he sees the season through to the end in his current city.
