Markus said YESTERDAY that any addition of graphics would be an option in the game, so anyone not interested in graphics (myself included), can just not use them. And if you read closely, that will satisfy a lot of people (myself included) who voted no.

There have certainly been posts where people referred to the addition of graphics as "turning OOTP into an arcade game" and The Wolf basically said that he thought the addition of graphics would likely be the end of the game, and at least would lead to the immediate departure of a large number of long-term, die hard fans of the game.
I don't think it's an exaggeration to say there are some very vocal members of the board who are quite sure this will be the end of OOTP as we know it, and absolutely not in a good way. And all of this about some ideas for a
proposed feature in a
future version of the game. It's ridiculous.
