Although we do know what happened to Earl Weaver Baseball.

It may or may not fail, but one thing is certain, If Markus had his way, this game would have had some graphics from the outset, and to deny that adding eye candy that will be benign to the impeccable stats engine he has built over the years won't expand his customer base (and Markus' wallet) and potentially lead to better things is foolhardy.
all of this talk about OOTP going the way of EWB is the definition of exaggeration if you ask me. Markus has busted his tail to make what he has probably and survived the whole SI merger/split. How about putting a little faith in the guy when it comes to his product. Has he not earned it from all of his long time loyal customers.
By all accounts, OOTP hasn't been a financial windfall for Markus, and if adding graphics fulfills his vision of what he always wanted his game to be and at the same time give him better financial flexibility, I think he should do it and I believe he will be successful. He deserves him some glory hole!
I honestly can't believe I am still having this conversation with you Wolf, I said a day or two ago (and you agreed) the decision as been made and that's that.
I think people are tired of you taking taking a steaming dump on every graphics conversation that has popped up with your negativity. Lets just let this thing play out.
