Wolf I think that part of the problem in OOTP is that too high a percentage of Canadian players from Provinces other than Quebec are given French type names. British Columbia provides the most modern MLB players. I'd suggest that less than 1% of them would have French names Justin Morneau notwithstanding.
Scottish/Irish/English names should rule for the vast majority of historical players from Canada.
