This exactly. Alexander has given Louisville quality, consistency, and reliability for five years. He's just had a bad luck year which happens sometimes. In this case the defense just doesn't seem to be playing well behind him. Even if he doesn't have a monster second half, he will almost certainly rebound to his old self next year.

So the question becomes, which view has primacy, win-now or steady hand at the helm through the blips ... or does Mr. Orcin intuit that Alexander is suddenly washed up?
