Look, I play one-pitch as well and it always seems like something isn't going my way and I don't blame the game, just the way the ball bounces. But to summarily dismiss his point, when his point was he had a pitcher get shelled for 3 games in a row or had the opponent come back after scoring 4 runs, is more ignorant than his complaint. The point is his reaction to these plausible things rather than countering with you have never had an opponent come back after you score 4 runs. Ever.

I don't think that's what Wolf was saying. He was saying that the opponent doesn't come back from 4 runs
consistently to the point of being funny and predictable, like the OP says.
I think anyone who plays this game on a regular basis has gone through stretches where it seems like the game has a cheat code (for lack of a better term), but we understand that it doesn't mean the game is broken or working incorrectly.
