(IBF) Myung-Woo Yuh 20-0 (8) vs Carlos Tamara 11-9-1 (4)

Yuh was his usual high volume self, pasting Carlos with 3 and 4 punch combos while he bounced in and out of harms way. In round five Myung fired four straight jabs to the body and launched a booming overhand left that dropped Tamara hard for an eight count. The follow up flurry left the Colombian with a swollen left eye. Yuh continued to be utterly dominant, a short hook opened a nasty gash over Carlos' now closed left eye in round eleven but Tamara managed to stay the course and last the distance to hear the UD for the champion, 150-134 x2 & 149-135

Michael Carbajal 18-1-1 (16) vs Jesus Chong 16-5 (8)

Carbajal battered the Mexican with thunderous hooks to the body and right hands to the head that had Chong's left eye slammed shut and gushing blood by the ninth round and a vicious series of power shots prompted the referee to end the slaughter. Amazing that Jesus never went down.

Hi-Yong Choi 36-5-1 (13) vs Isidro Perez 25-15-1 (10)

Choi capped a fast paced opening round by flooring Perez for a five count with a 3 punch combo. Isidro made his presence known, staggering Choi in the second and fifth with hard hooks, but the South Korean was too speedy and he dropped Kid with an uppercut in the sixth and cruised down the stretch to the UD. 97-90 x3

Roman Gonzalez 37-4-3 (27) vs Shingo Yamaguchi 13-7-1 (4)

Yamaguchi landed two stinging jabs that ballooned Roman's left eye by the end of the opening round. Chocolito pressed the pace, but Shingo kept popping that eye with jabs and hooks while the lack of vision seemed to affect Gonzalez' accuracy. Roman staggered him in the seventh with a crushing right hand and put together at least 6 beautiful shots in a row to close the round. Despite his eye being shut, Gonzalez continued his rally down the stretch; hurting Yamaguchi in the ninth with an uppercut and in the final round with hook. The valiant rally, however, fell short and Shingo was able to pull the big upset by tight UD, 96-94 & 96-95 x2
