Candido Tellez 29-10-1 (21) vs Francisco Tejedor 18-21-1 (7)
Tellez opened a bad cut over Tejedor's right eye in the opening minute of the fight and he continued to target it with jabs and hooks until the gory cut forced the stoppage in round three.
Hilario Zapata 35-4-1 (10) vs Adrian Roman 11-9 (1)
Zapata dropped Roman with a sharp combo early in the opening round and that helped create the room for him to do his thing, deftly avoiding Adrian's offense and countering with combos en route to the dominant UD. 100-89 x2 & 99-90
Jesus Martinez 12-8 (5) vs Paul Weir 16-22-2 (3)
Weir boxed well early behind his jab, in round five Martinez dropped him with a vicious uppercut and he tagged him with clean hooks and crosses in round seven. That momentum was abruptly stifled when a jab from Weir tore open Martinez' right eye early in round seven and the doctor and ref called it a night.
Mauricio Pastrana 32-25-3 (12) vs Monelisi Myekeni 11-8-1 (3)
Myekini fought a spoiling fight and while Pastrana struggled to inflict damage his aggression and body work netted him the MD, 98-93, 97-95 & 96-96
Ronald Barrera 24-14-2 (15) vs Daniel Reyes 27-13-2 (16)
Barrera struck first when he dropped Reyes with a crushing hook in the opening round, a barrage of blows had Reyes in bad shape towards the end of the stanza and Daniel had swelling on his right eye. Ronald continued to press the pace and connect with power shots over the first two minutes of round two when Olympico landed a thunderous right hand to stem the tide and he landed several more over the final minute of the thrilling round (20-17).
They opened the third with a furious trade and a left hook put Barrera down for a five count. Daniel pounded him to the head and body for the remainder of the round and a series of right hands left Ronald with a rapidly swelling left eye. After a close fourth Barrera regained control and he floored Reyes in the eighth and ninth rounds with right hands on the way to the grueling UD. 96-89 & 96-91 x2
Masibulele Makepula 40-17-3 (29) vs Jose Victor Burgos 15-5 (7)
This was a fierce fight of infighting, Burgos drew swelling from makepula's right eye in the opening round and Masibulele opened a nasty gash under Burgos' right eye with an uppercut in round two. After several tight rounds Makepula hurt him with a series of right hands in round six and dropped him for a seven count with a cross in the seventh before putting him down for the count with another right hand in round eight.
Sarikalek Eakarin 34-7-1 (26) vs Freddy Castillo 26-12-2 (11)
They went back in forth with both men scoring heavy shots on the inside that led to distention on both of their faces after six even rounds. In the seventh Eakarin stunned him with a right hand and in a follow up onslaught he floored him with a hook to the body, Castillo barely beat the count and the fight was stopped moments later after two hard right hands.
Jake Matlala 30-7-3 (15) vs Juan Alfonso Keb Bass 12-8 (6)
Baby Jake dominated from the onset, dropping keb Bass twice in round four with hooks and then he finished him in round seven with a short cross.
