I am not going to go all long winded here. Suffice to say I feel like we did everything we could this winter, and for the first time I believe the club is a serious World Series contender.

My owner is happy with a 'reach the playoffs' season, I won't be. If we don't get to the Series I feel it will be an underachieving season.

I've raised ticket prices to 25 bucks, fans are lukewarm in their loyalty and interest is at 60. I expect that to change as we come out of the gates.

Our budget is 64.45m, 24th, our payroll is 35.02m, 24th as well. We have 7.6m available for free agents this winter, before our 6.8m draft allowance. Our total expenses this year, right now, look to be around 60.7m.

We've made Mr Marquis insane amounts of money the past 4 seasons and I don't expect that to change.

Scouting wise we are finally spending. 5.6 on NA, and 4.5 internationally. Scouting is 40/20/40 Major/Minor/Amateur.

I've got area scouts in Japan, Cuba, the Dominican and Puerto Rico, Curacao, Taiwan, Honduras and the Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and North Korea (that would be awesome!) and Sweden.
