Omaha CF Barry Scott won a New York Penn League Gold Glove for his 2014 season.
Class A Belleview took home a league record 5! Gold Gloves! P Jorge Rodriguez, C Clyde Brooks (his 2nd), 1B Ricardo Gonzalez (his 2nd!), 3B Albert Ortiz and CF Cody Young all won gold gloves.
In addition to his Gold Glove Jorge Rodriguez was chosen as the 2014 MWL Pitcher of the year for his 13-6 2.91 season. He made 28 starts, threw 161 IP, 154 hits, 140 K’s and 51 walks.
Another Belleview gold glover took home more hardward. 1B Ricardo Gonzalez took home the MWL Best Hitter Award after his 295-29-96 season.
