FINAL WEEKEND SERIES, Saturday September 28th, 2014
5 races to watch, that I will update
FIRST
In the FL East Brooklyn is 78-81 and Staten Island is 77-82. They begin a 3 game series today, in Staten Island. Whichever team does not win the division is out of the playoffs. If Brooklyn wins today they’ll clinch at least a tie.

SECOND
In the FL Central Tulsa is 96-63 and San Antonio is 94-65. Both are in, now it’s just to determine the division winner and wild card.

THIRD
Phildadelphia is 97-62, Baltimore is 94-65. Any Philly win or Baltimore loss clinches the division for Philly. Philly is in Columbus, Baltimore is in New Hampshire.

FOURTH
Race for the #1 seed in the Coastal League. Right now it’s like this
Los Angeles 98
Philadelphia 97
Chicago 97

We have the tie breaker vs LA, but Philly has it on us.

FIFTH
Coastal League Batting Title
Jean Chartier .334
Vince Soto .333
Pat Adams .331
Ernesto Gutierrez .328

This will be fascinating to watch unfold as we both are in, and I have to measure the health, and rest, of my players versus an individual award. I’ve love to see Jean go 5-5 and put it out of reach today.

We are finishing the season with Michigan. I am starting Alejandrez today and will pitch the regulars unless something happens and I no longer need to.
