My preferred makeup is 12 pitchers (5 starters, 1-2 relievers than can pitch multiple innings if needed, minimum 1 lefty, 4-5 "normal" relievers. Then 13 position players (2 catchers, 5 infielders, 4 outfielders, then a utility infielder, and a player that can play both infield and outfield, which usually ends up being 1B/LF).
