In the same menu (league menu button at the top middle) as the free-agent available link there is an option right (or maybe in free-agents--I forget which) that says players on the trading block.
You can try there first.
Then you can go to the league menu a nd click on the strength by position report to guage each teams strengths and weakness.
Finally you can go to the league menu and go to All Players in xyz League and simply filter by 1B.
