Do you have roster limits at the lowest minor league level?
Correct my math if it's faulty but how did he use an option in 1947? He clearly used an option in 1948. Did putting him on waivers in 1947 do it? Biloxi would have had to keep him on the (active?) 40-man roster based on the date of the claim.
