2011 marks the transition year, as the draft pool has now dried up of real players. Right now there are 1846 batters who are active in the league, many of which don't really stand the chance of doing much. But I'll follow through until everyone that is active stops playing. With this break it is time to make some changes to the format of the report.
Alex Rodriguez retired with 282 home runs, making him the 37th failure. Both Adam Dunn and David Ortiz passed the 500 home run mark for their careers.
Jim Edmonds retired with 609 career home runs. Edmonds hit 393 home runs in real life. Eduardo Perez retired with 441 career home runs after hitting 79 in real life.
Lance Berkman became a member of the 400 home runs club. In real life Berkman has hit 360 home runs.
Eduardo Perez retired from baseball with 441 career home runs. In real life Perez hit 79.
