LeRoy Jones is the all-time leader in AVG with a .358 average. Bud Davis (.353), Ox Eckhardt (.350), Ichiro (.341) and Mule Suttles (.337) round out the top 5.

Mule Suttles leads in WAR with 153.67.

Christy Mathewson and Dupee Shaw are tied atop the wins list with 416. George Wetzel has 413, Hugh Daily has 406, and Frank Tanana has 405.

Randy Johnson leads in strikeouts with 5128, with Frank Tanana second at 5090.

Mathewson also has the highest WAR for pitchers with 228.09, with Hugh Daily second at 200.50.

While he hit 300 home runs, Joe Morgan also had 3511 hits. Rogers Hornsby also had a good career, .309 average, 3441 hits, 175 home runs.

Rickey Henderson is second in stolen bases with 1157. The leader was a surprise to me - Gregg Jefferies with 1582, including 11 straight years with 100 plus.

Danny Murphy (1898) holds the all-time hit streak with 54 games.
