There could be options for the NHL seasons e.g. no start date or a start date with a shortened season or even random and let the game decide. Having an NHL season on though with many of the top players still in Europe would really effect the dynamic and balance of the league and effect future drafts etc. If I were to play with NHL on for season 12/13 then I imagine there would be no lockout contracts but would be handy to suspend the league at the user's discretion obviously with so many options that could work the schedule. If there was a lockout in effect it would be cool if players were more likely to play in their home town or nation or a league or team they played with before and the occasional strange one like Drew Miller playing in Scotland etc and player friends, relations team mates a bit more likely to join them. Agents seem to be a big part of some players going to Europe and for some players they just want the insurance covered which is still a lot of money but not compared to their actual NHL wage. Agents I think would be handy in the game and is definetly a big part in minor league north american players coming to Europe.
Not a big issue and really not essential for the first version of the game, just wondered what the position is currently on this? Sorry if this has already been covered I didn't notice it if it has.

Not agreed with this (respect for the fandom). But if there's people interested in this crap, I'll let them.
