I started a fictional league starting in 1900. I sim through the seasons, and at the end of the playoffs I go back to review the box scores of the series. When I got to the end of the 1902 playoffs and went back to look, the playoffs were not showing on the schedule. In fact, the entire schedule for the year had disappeared. If I went into a player's game log, their stats were there, but all of the games said "Loss 0-0" as the result of the game. I could click on that to get the correct box score.
I decided to start over. I think I had an earlier saved version of the same game. This time, I was able to get all of the way until 1920 before this happened again. This time, I happened to look at the league standings and noticed that there were two new teams there. The league had expanded after the playoffs were over. The new teams were in that season's standings with 0-0 record. I went back to the game I had abandoned and checked the standings there. There had been a two-team expansion in that league as well. So, that leads me to believe the expansion is what triggered the vanishing schedule.
I guess I will start a new game and turn off expansion. I actually want to control that part anyway.
