The real-life rules state that any player added directly to the 60-day roster after August 1st is NOT eligible to be replaced in the post-season roster. (Players transferred from the 15-day DL to the 60-day DL after August 1st can be replaced.)

There is also no 15-day DL after the end of the regular season in real life. Clubs instead certify to the commissioner that a player is injured and unable to play and then the commissioner grants the club the right to name a replacement player for use in that post-season series. If the injured player recovers in time for the start of the next series, the replacement player is removed.

All of which reminds me that OOTP ought to handle this whole matter better. (As I understand it due to technical issues within the code the real-life rules have to be modified.)
