Just last year I talked about the Cleveland Blues never appearing in the World Series, or winning the World Series. This year they managed to check both off their to-do list, after an impressive 4-0 sweep over the Pittsburgh Rebels.
Terry Robbins of the Blues was impressive in the series, winning both games he pitched, including the final game 4. Robbins had a 1.13 ERA in the series.

Daniela Parri delivered the big blows on offense for the Blues, hitting .538 for the series while homering, driving in 5 runs, and scoring 4. Coming after a season in which the youngster hit just .228 and struck out 148 times the Blues were pleased to see Parri break out in a big way, even if it was in a short series.
