• 07/03: LOU 9, PHX 2 – Brown 3-5, HR (10), 2 RBI (50)
• George King was diagnosed with an elbow sprain. He needs 1-2 weeks of rest, so he will go on the 15-day D/L retroactive to June 30. Garza will close.
• Rob Bryant was recalled from AAA to replace King on the roster.

I like Garza as the closer in waiting because of that amazing K/BB ratio (nearly 10/1). He also has more stamina than Brooks or Jones, allowing him to work several days in a row. (The closer gets a lot of work on a team that wins 100 games.)
