Pro Cup Down To Final 4
After an exciting first round of play in the IPA Pro Cup playoffs, teams have been shaved down to the Final 4. It will be top-seeded Fairfax against fifth-seed East Point for the Tycobbian crown and number-two seed Elnora taking on seventh-seeded St. John for the Ruthlandian title. In the TU Final 4 Fairfax (102-52) will host the tough East Point Panthers (88-66) at the Frog Pond tomorrow afternoon and the Elnora All-Stars (93-61) will entertain unheralded St. John (87-67) at State Fair Park. Baseball analysts forecast it will be the Frogs and the All-Stars in this year's Islands championship. Fairfax is given the nod to reign in the Pro Cup competition. However, East Point could throw a monkey wrench into the equation with its fine starting rotation.
