I think you have misunderstood. I am not using Windows8 because a wanted to upgrade. I don't use windows as a general rule. I am building TB on Linux which I have installed and working well on all my PC's...
I have a windows8 dual boot as I have some work I need to do on OOTP Baseball to make it work as a Win8 Metro app. I also found out today that Apple have now enforced the use of Xcode4 for all apps, which like win8 does not work with old apps. So I also have iOOTP work to do too.
Its these support tasks that I must give priority too, that have my TB work paused. I wish I could just keep working and get TB into beta, but these other tasks are time critical!

However, don't panic as I have my laptop to my side and I am working on TB during builds and in the evenings so things are still progressing. My heart is very much in getting TB out and I am putting as much effort into it that I can without neglecting my other duties. For example I have not made it to bed before midnight all week coz I am working on TB!
