It's fun for me, but I can understand why it wouldn't be everyones preferred method. That's one of the beauties of this game. Some people love to edit the world_default, some people are graphics modders; I like to watch the franchises evolve over the course of the league. Having grown up with OOTP, I've definitely had plenty of time to develop oddball systems to suit my preferences!
