I have a pitcher on my active roster that is not performing well and would like to bring another pitcher in from my secondary roster. The problem is that the guy I want to remove has the right to refuse demotion to the minors, which he is doing. I don't want to actually trade or release the player, so what options do I have to get him off my active roster? I can't figure one out and wondered if I was just stuck with him in my active roster?
