If interested: As I said above, many of the owners in this league have been together for 10 real years. I am not looking for a pulse. I am looking for somebody who wants to be involved in the league. We write every month as you'll see from our website. We exchange many emails and will never be a forum league. I am as dedicated of a commish you will find. You'll get your sims when I say you will, and I've gone through 4 years of college, a marriage, and now two children and haven't stopped. The only break we had was when we started a new league in 2012 - converting from a sim that was built in 1998 to OOTP13.

August 27, 2002 – On this date, the Virtual Baseball League 3 played it’s first two games. At that time, there was a ton of uncertainty whether or not the league could last.
Using a sim called Front Page Sports Baseball (circa 1998), the league was constantly battling against technology with each and every sim.
After 10 years, and 20 seasons the VBL3 closed it’s doors on June 6, 2012.
Of the 28 owners in VBL3 at the time of the doors closing, 24 of them are original VBL owners! Based on the fact that 13 owners have never used OOTP before, proves what a great community we have built.
The risk they are taking, combined with the veteran OOTP users will undoubtedly create another great online community and competitive league.
Now, a new era will officially begin in the VBL. After 2 months of drafting, learning, and spring training – The VBL is ready for it’s first Opening Day!
On Wednesday night, August 15th – The VBL will begin with it’s first 3 games in the league’s history.
We are not just any OOTP 13 league – We Are The VBL.
