Just completed my first MLB season. Been eleminated in playoffs but rest of games need to be played. Need to replace scout and some minor league coaches. When is the best time period to do this? Im afraid if I sign them now, before season is over, I will lose a year for them because I don't need them now.

It doesn't really matter. I tend to wait til teh season ends then you may get them for cheaper. My AAA mgr wasa FA, I offered him $132 (1905) he declined. AAA season ends I got him at the same price $120 that he made the previous 3 seasons.
