Yam Yaryan again led the league in home runs for the third straight year, and moved into the career leaders with 72 career home runs. In real life Yaryan played just two seasons in the majors and hit 2 career home runs in 173 at-bats.
One name that keeps appearing on the home run leaders is Oscar Charleston, who finished second in home runs this year. At 20 years old the Negro League Hall of Famer will be one to watch in coming years.
Babe Ruth again finished among the home run leaders and should make his debut in the top 100 career leaders next season, needing just 4 home runs.
