Subject: Federal League Player of the Month
Louisville RF Lorenzo Olivares was named the Federal League Batter of the Month for July. He punished Federal hurlers hard all month long, collecting 33 hits in 99 at-bats. With a .333 batting average, 11 home runs, 23 RBIs and 26 runs scored, he was an easy choice. For the season Olivares is hitting .286 with 23 home runs and 65 RBIs.
