You do have the option of starting a new career. I have done this on many occasions. As a matter of fact this is a good way to continue with the same team if you ever get fired but don’t want to leave. Just retire your current manager and start a new career and all of the teams will be available for you to choose from including your current team that you were just fired from. Works well.
