Thanks for the reply. Still struggling with this though.
My manager is proving to be quite annoying! I've got a relief pitcher - 24 yr old, in his 2nd year out of college who looks the goods both in scout ratings (3 current and 5 potential stars), and has put up impressive numbers at all levels of the minors, yet he never gets promoted to the Majors. In fact, despite good numbers he seems to alternate between AA and Short Season league.
I intervened for a while and locked him into AAA, for half a season where continued to shine. The minor league report said he was 'Ready for the Majors', so I unchecked the 'lock to current minor league' setting, thinking the manager would at the very least keep him there or at best promote him to the Majors to replace another rookie reliever who was gwtting shelled.
To my surprise as soon as I unchecked the button, my manager demoted him back down to AA.
I responded by promoting him to the Active Roster of my Major League team, and 'force started him as reliever'
However as soon as I progressed things, my manager intervened and shipped him back down to AA.
Is there anyway to both allow my manager to make the majority of roster decisions whilst being able to override certain ones with my own?
Is this able to be done in either OOTB 12 or 13?
