We were just on.” Reacting to Birmingham’s 14-6 win over Little Rock. The Gorillas finished with 20 hits. Ramos was 2 for 4 with two doubles, two RBI, two runs scored, and a walk.

Myrtle Beach Player-Coach Mike Brown: “Today was just a heartbreaker. We had the freakin’ lead going into the ninth and we just puckered up and let them take it to us long and hard. We got to win these games.” Reacting to Myrtle Beach’s 8-7 loss to Nashville. The Dolphins were leading 7-6 in the ninth but lost. Myrtle Beach has now lost three in a row, two of them by one run.
