Too many messages can cause this problem, I guess. It may or may not have been triggered by the latest patch.

I am happy, except for one thing. You know that News Involving Player feature in Player History? It's all gone now for players who retired prior to two years ago. That includes my Hall of Famers.

One more compromise that I must make with this great, but imperfect, game.


I hate to be pessimistic but based on what I found, and the fact that only a handful of us have this problem, they are going to assume that it's not a widespread issue. It's always a kiss of death when you put it on the main discussion board and the thread attracts only one or two serious responses. My advice is to clean out your old messages by either manually deleting them and messages.dat or dialing back that keep news log option.

The workaround is unacceptable and this needs to be fixed. This issue did not appear for me until the latest patch and as a fictional gamer, I like to keep all league, player, and team news.
I really hope this gets patched ASAP.
