I know this probably can't be implemented in current versions of OOTP, but it seems like it'd be a good idea for future versions of the game. Can you create an option where you can ask players (particularly highly paid core players) if they are willing to restructure their existing contract in order to free up some money. Some players would say no, but others, who are more team-oriented, may be open to it.

I don't know that this is big in the MLB per se, but it seems to be pretty big in other sports leagues like the NFL and the NBA.

What do others think about this feature? Yea or Nay?
