I checked the Spiders, too. What a horrible team! At least they got to play home games at the beginning of the season. By July, they were almost never in Cleveland because other teams refused to play there because the visitors' share of the gate receipts weren't enough to cover expenses.
Their owner also owned another team--the St. Louis Browns, I think--and "traded" the Spiders' best players to the other team. No wonder they stunk.
