I love playing with the sound on and wish there were even more sounds. And that I could understand what someone in the crowd is saying at one point when they're booing. (It sort of sounds like he says, "They said he didn't strike at it," but I'm hardly certain of that.)
All said, I've played two more games now without hearing a chirp at any time.
I also wonder whether it happens if maybe I accidentally click at the exactly "right" moment (to clear the PBP and go to the next pitch or something) and cause a blip in the soundtrack. ... Plus I'm playing on a Mac, so it's possible the sound doesn't happen on a PC. ... I'm open to all possibilities.
I just know it happens and I'm wondering if I can correlate it to any other goings-on in the game to explain why or when.
