I agree! I am pretty much there, too. The ONLY thing keeping me interested in the game is the role of manager in the minor leagues. Sorry, all that drafting, signing, extending, trading, bla bla bla doesn't interest me. I just want to go with what I'm dealt, and revel in the outcome (even if it means I'm fired).
Right now I'm managing the Myrtle Beach team in the NAB quickstart I found off here, and it's pretty interesting trying to generate wins with an offense centered around two REALLY FAST #1/#2 hitters who seemingly generate the teams' only runs by stealing bases.
Other than that, the game -- for better or worse -- is largely the same that it's been for years and years. I'll probably become more interested when the baseball card feature becomes more mature (probably third party apps for using it will be necessary) and Markus decides to go out on a limb by implementing animations (even if the hitters look like RBI Baseball which would be more than fine by me) into the game.
So, again, I appreciate the OP not trashing the game in the process of saying that he's done with it. Like everyone with a crutch (nicest way I can put it), one sip ain't enough.
