Klew, two things I did to keep my interest. Here they are:
1) Started playing as the Ham Fighters in the Japanese League.
2) Tried playing the Moneyball approach. I am the GM of the Cubs and my owner is generous. I try to get ride of expensive players, replace them with 5 star, cheaper talent, and juggle fan interest. It is a lot of fun trying to do this with a self imposed budget.
